Enter our competition and you could be taking some time to yourself to relax and recharge on a retreat at Dyffryn House, just outside the beautiful little Carmarthenshire town of Kidwelly, from 3-6 November.
Everyone needs some time out, to take stock of what’s really important in life and to nurture the self – not because of some crisis, but because we all deserve some ‘me time’. Owner Laura discovered just how powerful taking care of the body, mind and soul can be when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.
Now in good health, she discovered the peacefulness that yoga and meditation can bring, focused on healthy organic food and cooking to nurture, spent more time noticing things rather than rushing and spent more time out in nature. With the retreat at Dyffryn House she hopes to share all she’s learnt.
Soothe your mind and nervous system with meditations for deep relaxation and an introduction to the powerful practise of Hatha yoga. Get to grips with mindfulness on a short course designed to inspire and motivate, while getting some insight into living in the present moment and managing the constant chatter that invades our thoughts every day.
Then join together with other guests for a session on ‘the essence of you’, allowing retreat-goers to take time to pause, question and think about what really matters before focusing on how to achieve your goals.
Enjoy fresh home-cooked vegetarian meals each day and, if you love a particular dish, take the recipes home with you! Plus, Dyffryn House boasts a private hot tub, ideal for evening relaxation. The award winning Cefn Sidan beach is minutes away and beach and country walks are bountiful.
