Seven more days till Christmas break begins for me. Seven days packed to the brim with school trips, sports, charity events, concerts and late nights. I love my job so much and really appreciate all that I get to do with it but I'll need a marathon sleep when this term comes to an end! I find it hard to stop and rest when I'm in *work* mode so the holidays are just what I need to wind down and recharge for the new year. I'm most definitely a happy Shannon right now @inthemomentmag #Christmas #holidays #festiveseason #christmasbreak #busybusybusy #thehappynow #autumnvibes #autumnal #mysignofautumn #Winchester #justgoshoot #postitfortheaesthetic #adventuredays #darlingdaily #littlestoriesofmylife #fblogger #fashionblogger #ootd #irishblogger #fallfashion #littlestoriesofmylife #flashesofdelight #longhair #naturalhair #curlyhair #itmphotochallenge

@inthemomentmag You asked for happiness and it didn’t get any better than this in 2017. A trip to Sri Lanka with my husband in January to visit the orphanage we support in Galle. Ian is wearing a wheelchair commode on his head (stick with me!) and we’re whizzing around in the back of a tuk tuk. My right leg is dangling from the door to allow room for several saucepans and some hoola hoops. I won’t go into detail about the new wheelchair; the story behind this picture is very poignant. But sometimes sadness can also bring hope and this story had a very happy ending. The moral being that true happiness can be found in what you can give rather than what you receive. Something we could all do better at, all year round #happiness #happy #caring #care #kindness #bekind #helpingothers #hope #humanity #givingback #peace #love #instagood #picoftheday #travel #travelphotography #galle #srilanka #charity #itmphotochallenge #photography #smile #people #helpinghands
