Am I an introvert?
Do you find that people ask you questions like: “Why don’t you talk more?” Introverts are naturally more reserved and tend to focus on their inner feelings. They don’t need stimulation from the outside world in order to be happy.
Introverts need to spend time by themselves in order to recharge their batteries and be happy, while extroverts need to spend more time socialising to feel good.
Being an introvert isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Introverts have plenty of positive traits – you’ll often find that your best ideas arise when you’re alone. Introverts are often sought out for their advice, but are less likely to speak up in meetings.
Are introverts always shy? This is a common myth. Surprisingly, introverts can be great public speakers, but struggle when taking part in a group conversation.
Introverts aren’t necessarily quiet people – in fact, 60 per cent of lawyers are introverts. On the opposite side, there are also extroverts who aren’t keen on small talk. You might find that you fall somewhere in the middle of the scale.

Why socialising makes introverts tired
If you’re an introvert, you might find yourself feeling drained if you have to socialise for a prolonged period of time. You might find that you retreat to the quietest part of the party, so that you can relax.
